Nevada update
Fingerprint authorization form required since August 2025.
Effective August 1, 2025, applicants who need fingerprints must bring the Fingerprint Authorization Form to an approved vendor. The link to that form arrives by email from Sircon or NIPR after you apply.

Pass the Nevada producer exam
Register with Pearson VUE. The exam must be passed within one year before you apply. - 02
Apply through Sircon
Residents apply electronically through Sircon. The state licensing fee is $185; the vendor may add a transaction fee. - 03
Complete the fingerprint waiver
Before fingerprinting, read and complete the Division's Fingerprint Background Waiver. - 04
Get fingerprinted with the authorization form
Use the Fingerprint Authorization Form link emailed after your application. - 05

What license do I need to sell final expense insurance in Nevada?
Final expense is life insurance, so producers generally need a Nevada producer license with the Life line of authority.
